The left-wing SYRIZA party has made a bold decision to exclude Stefanos Kasselakis from running in their upcoming leadership elections, sparking power struggles within the party.

After a recent attack from Kasselakis, SYRIZA confirmed the ban with a strong statement saying the exclusion is “immediately enforceable and irrevocable.”

The party congress, scheduled for November 8-10, is anticipated to be tense as rival factions vie for control ahead of the leadership elections on November 24.

In response to his exclusion, Kasselakis expressed shock and vowed to retaliate at the congress, setting the stage for a dramatic showdown within the party.
