Israeli bombs hit Hezbollah finances, report finds

Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah is facing a financial crisis as its main funding source, Al-Qard al-Hasan (AQAH), is running out of funds. The US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on AQAH in 2007, and recent strikes by Israel on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon have further crippled their financial resources.

According to experts, Hezbollah’s financial woes are impacting its ability to pay its members and continue its operations. The Lebanese government is tightening control over cash deliveries to Hezbollah, further restricting their access to funds.

With Hezbollah’s financial lifeline drying up, the group’s future operations are uncertain. However, despite the cash crunch, experts believe that Hezbollah’s fight against Israeli forces might continue fueled by religious zeal rather than financial resources.
