Israeli bombing of Gaza’s Al-Aqsa Hospital kills Palestinians in fire

The Israeli military’s attack on tents housing displaced people at Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza resulted in a fire that claimed four lives and wounded many others. Medical sources reported that the blaze, sparked by Israeli bombardment, caused chaos and destruction in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. Videos on social media depicted the intense flames and desperate attempts to save lives amidst the chaos.

Survivors described a night of terror as explosions rocked the area, leaving burnt bodies and charred remnants in the wake of the attack. This was the seventh assault on the Al-Aqsa Hospital complex, with the Israeli army claiming it was a “command and control centre” for Hamas, without providing evidence.

Further atrocities unfolded in Nuseirat and Jabalia refugee camps, where Israeli shelling targeted shelters and aid distribution centers, resulting in multiple casualties. The relentless attacks have left civilians vulnerable and without essential aid, trapped in a dire humanitarian crisis.
