Similarly, the German government has called on Israel to investigate the shelling of peacekeepers in southern Lebanon and emphasized the need to prioritize the protection and security of UN troops.
The European Union also denounced Israeli attacks on peacekeepers and rejected claims that the UN was obstructing military operations against Hezbollah. The situation in southern Lebanon is causing growing concern, with calls for a comprehensive investigation into the attacks on UN peacekeepers.
