Iranian president keeps focus on criminal case of Azerbaijani embassy attack

Iranian President Pezeshkian Emphasizes Importance of Azerbaijan Relations

During a meeting in Tehran, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian highlighted the significance of the criminal case regarding the attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy. He expressed Iran’s commitment to the legal processes and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Azerbaijan.

President Pezeshkian welcomed the development of ties in transportation and expressed interest in further cooperation in energy and agriculture. He stressed the need for regional collaboration to address security issues, stating that new countries entering the region would not benefit anyone.

Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev reiterated Azerbaijan’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Iran in various sectors, including economy, trade, culture, and transit. He discussed the potential for resolving regional problems through dialogue between countries in the region.

Mustafayev also extended an invitation to the Iranian President to attend the upcoming COP29 in Baku, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration between the two nations.
