Hezbollah has issued a strong warning to Israel following a deadly drone attack near Haifa that claimed the lives of four soldiers. The Iran-backed group threatened more attacks if Israel’s offensive in Lebanon continued.
The attack, described as a “complex” operation by Hezbollah, targeted Israeli bases in Nahariya and Acre north of Haifa. The group launched missiles and drones, some of which were used for the first time, evading Israeli defense systems to hit a training camp in Binyamina.
Following the Binyamina attack, Hezbollah also targeted a maintenance and rehabilitation base of the Israeli army south of Haifa. This incident comes after two aerial drones entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, causing damage in northern Tel Aviv.
The escalating conflict in Lebanon has resulted in over 1,300 deaths and displaced more than a million people. Despite Israel’s air defenses intercepting most projectiles, the situation remains tense and volatile.
