Four Israeli soldiers killed in Hezbollah drone strike

Israel’s military faced a devastating blow when Hezbollah drones killed four soldiers at a base in northern Israel. The attack in Binyamina near Haifa marked a deadly assault, leaving over 60 people wounded. As tensions escalated, Israel expanded its bombardment of Lebanon, causing casualties and destruction.

Meanwhile, in Gaza, Israeli strikes on a school sheltering displaced people resulted in 15 deaths, including families, while a hospital was also targeted, killing four. UN peacekeepers reported being caught in the crossfire between Israel and Hezbollah, further intensifying the conflict.

Hezbollah retaliated by launching drones at the Israeli base, warning of more severe consequences if Israel continued its aggression. The ongoing conflict saw Israel targeting Hezbollah strongholds, while Hezbollah fired rockets into Israel in support of Hamas.

As the situation worsened, international leaders called for de-escalation, with French President Macron urging Iran to help ease tensions. The toll of civilian casualties in Gaza and Lebanon continued to rise, prompting WHO and other organizations to provide aid to hospitals.

The conflict, sparked by Hamas in Gaza, resulted in a significant loss of lives, with both sides suffering heavy casualties. In response, the Pentagon announced support for Israel by deploying an anti-missile system to counter potential threats from Iran.
