Unraveling the Carnage in Agenebode: A Tragic Revelation

A midday tragedy unfolded in Agenebode, Edo State, as a wave of violence erupted, resulting in numerous deaths and destruction. The incident stemmed from allegations of suspected criminal Fulani engaging in organ harvesting and selling, protected by the police.
An abducted young boy, who was not released despite ransom payment, sparked the community’s fury. The youths tracked the abductor, leading them to the Hausa/Fulani leader’s house, where gruesome revelations emerged. The decomposing body of the missing boy and other human bones were unearthed, pushing the enraged youths to burn down buildings in retaliation.
The police station and vehicles were set ablaze as an outcry against police complicity in the heinous crimes. The local authorities, shocked by the unfolding events, struggled to contain the chaos. Police officials and regional leaders visited the area to restore order and investigate the grim reality.
The tragic events in Agenebode illustrate a community driven to extremes by the horrors of kidnapping and killings, demanding justice and an end to the cycle of violence.
