6th World Media Summit kicks off in Urumqi

Recently, the global summit on “Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation” brought together over 500 attendees from 106 countries and regions, including representatives from 208 mainstream media outlets, government agencies, and international organizations. Co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the regional government of Xinjiang, the event aimed to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on the media industry.

Notably, Mohammad Mahdi Rahmati, the CEO of Iran’s Mehr Media Group, participated in the summit, contributing insights and perspectives on the integration of AI technologies in media practices. The discussions highlighted the growing importance of AI in shaping the future of journalism and content creation, emphasizing the need for media professionals to adapt to technological advancements.
