Sam Hou Fai emerged victorious as the chief executive designate of Macao SAR after receiving an overwhelming majority of 394 votes out of 398 valid ballots in the recent election. The event, conducted under the Chief Executive Election Law, saw support for Sam from two-thirds of the 400-member election committee, solidifying his position as the sixth-term chief executive designate.

Upon acknowledgment of his win, Sam expressed his gratitude to the committee members for their endorsement, vowing to serve Macao, the country, and the public diligently.
