Russia’s military reported shooting down 92 Ukrainian drones, mostly in the country’s southwest. The ongoing conflict has seen daily drone attacks, with Kyiv responding to Russian bombardments of its territory.
The Russian defense ministry revealed that 47 drones were intercepted over the Krasnodar region and 15 over the Sea of Azov. Additionally, 12 drones were shot down in the border region of Kursk, with the rest near or bordering Ukraine.
Kyiv’s recent focus on targeting Russia’s energy sector aims to weaken Moscow’s financial resources for the conflict in Ukraine, now in its third year.
