Israel intensifies attack in Northern Gaza, 52 Palestinians killed

Israel’s relentless assault on the Gaza Strip has led to the death of at least 52 Palestinians, with over 98,000 others injured as reported by the territory’s Health Ministry. The ongoing violence has resulted in a total death toll of 42,227 since last year.

The ministry stated that Israeli forces carried out four massacres in the past 24 hours, killing 52 people and injuring 128 others, leaving many trapped under rubble.

Despite a U.N. Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued its genocidal attacks since the latest incursion by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023. The Israeli forces have intensified their raids in northern Gaza, displacing many families and isolating towns like Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Beit Lahiya.

The ongoing assault in Gaza, alongside Israeli operations in southern Lebanon against Hezbollah, has amplified the devastation in the region. The escalation in northern Gaza has stirred strong resistance from the residents, determined to stay in their homes despite the bombardment.

Israel pounds N. Gaza

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with reports of severe shortages of food, fuel, and medical supplies. The indiscriminate attacks by Israel have left no safe areas in the region, raising concerns of a possible famine.

Despite the challenges faced by the residents, the spirit of resistance and resilience in the face of adversity shines through, as people vow to stay and defend their homes against the ongoing onslaught.
