Iran Condemns Israeli Attack on Syrian Field Hospital as Breach of Int’l Law

The Iranian envoy, Saeed Iravani, recently condemned the Israeli occupying regime for the deliberate bombing of an Iranian Red Crescent humanitarian aid depot. The facility, located on the Syrian-Lebanese border, housed essential supplies for displaced Lebanese civilians, including hospital beds, medical equipment, food, and shelter materials.

Iravani emphasized that this attack is a clear violation of international law and a heinous crime against humanitarian efforts. He called on the UN Security Council to condemn the actions of the Israeli regime and take decisive action to prevent further violations.

He stressed the importance of protecting civilian infrastructure, especially humanitarian and medical facilities, as mandated by international law. Iravani urged for accountability and prevention of further atrocities in the region, highlighting the ongoing aggression against Palestine and Lebanon.

It is crucial for the Security Council to act swiftly in upholding international law and ensuring the safety of civilians and aid workers in conflict zones. The Iranian government stands firm in seeking justice for this inexcusable attack on humanitarian efforts.
