Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for a deadly attack on an Israeli army base in Binyamina, using a swarm of drones to strike a military camp. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed four fatalities and seven severe injuries among its personnel as a result of the Hezbollah UAV attack. The targeted camp belonged to the Golani Brigade in Binyamina, an area near Haifa which has been a common target for Hezbollah assaults.
Confirming the incident, the IDF stated, “A UAV launched by the Hezbollah terrorist organization hit an army base adjacent to Binyamina. Four IDF soldiers were killed in the incident and an additional seven were severely injured.” This attack marks another escalation in tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, with the latter demonstrating its capability to carry out sophisticated drone strikes.
