German Islamist group calls for caliphate in Middle East – RT News

In a gathering of around 2,000 protesters in Hamburg, Germany, demonstrators expressed their outrage against what they called Israeligenocide” in Gaza and Lebanon. The group, Muslim Interaktiv, led by Joe Adade Boateng, called for the establishment of a caliphate in the Middle East to address the ongoing crisis. Despite claims of a larger turnout, the rally lasted only 40 minutes without incident.

Muslim Interaktiv, known for its controversial views, has previously labeled Germany as a “dictatorship of values” and advocated for a caliphate as the solution for the country. The group is believed to have ties with Hizb ut-Tahrir, a banned radical Islamist organization in Germany. Despite concerns, the police defended the group’s right to protest, citing freedom of assembly as a cornerstone of democracy, while also imposing restrictions on certain activities during the rally.

The call for a caliphate, chants of “Allahu Akbar,” and denouncements of Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon have sparked public debate over the limits of free speech and expression in Germany.
