The Ekiti Amotekun Corps recently made a significant arrest of a 35-year-old man, Musa Abdullahi, who is suspected to be a supplier of food and courier services to bandits in the region. This arrest was made during a patrol in the forest of Ise-Ekiti at Oritan Forest Reserve.

According to Adeleye Abiodun, the Head of Communications Department of the Corps, Abdullahi, a resident of Shasha in Akure, Ondo State, confessed to his involvement in supplying food to the Fulani/Bororo bandits living in the forest reserve. The suspect and all exhibits recovered from him have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Ise-Orun Division, Ise-Ekiti for further investigation.

This arrest highlights the dedication of the Ekiti Amotekun Corps in ensuring the safety and security of the region. Their vigilance has led to the apprehension of individuals who are aiding criminal activities in the area, contributing to a safer community for all residents.
