The vice department director also criticized Seoul for failing to recognize the danger and wasting time on empty rhetoric. She called on South Korea to refrain from provocations that breach other countries’ airspace to prevent further escalation.
Kim’s recent statements follow similar warnings issued on the night of the 12th regarding the potential reoccurrence of the “Pyongyang drone leaflet” incident. South Korea was cautioned of severe repercussions if such actions were repeated.
