In a gruesome discovery, Mexican authorities announced the finding of five decapitated bodies on a road in western Jalisco state. The bodies were wrapped in black plastic bags in the municipality of Ojuelos, exposing the ongoing violence in the country.
The state prosecutor’s office received a report about human silhouettes in bags on the road, leading National Guard members to find the headless bodies of five men in trousers. Nearby, the victims’ heads were also discovered in another bag. Forensic experts are now investigating the area for evidence.
This incident in Ojuelos, near Lagos de Moreno, adds to the string of violent killings attributed to organized crime in the region, highlighting the ongoing struggle for peace and security in Mexico.
