The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that there have been 80 combat clashes on the frontlines, with 18 still ongoing in seven sectors. In Sumy, border settlements faced artillery shelling from Russia and air strikes on multiple settlements.
Russian forces also bombarded their own Kursk region. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks in multiple sectors, including Kupiansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, Vremivka, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovske.
The most intense fighting was in the Kurakhove sector, with 19 attacks reported.
Yesterday, there were 186 combat clashes, with Ukrainian forces successfully defending against multiple assaults. In Kurakhove, 47 attacks were repelled, and in Pokrovsk, 36 assaults were stopped.
