In preparation for the upcoming 10·16 by-elections, both Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, and Cho Kuk, the leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, will join forces to support Kim Kyung-ji, the sole opposition candidate. Cho Kuk announced on Facebook that he will visit Geumjeong-gu to support Kim, following a phone call from Lee Jae-myung.
Despite Kim being chosen as the sole opposition candidate, Cho Kuk expressed his commitment to supporting the Democratic Party’s decision and participating in the campaign. This joint effort by opposition leaders in the Geumjeong-gu may reignite voter interest in the upcoming by-election.
Cho Kuk emphasized the importance of upholding the principles of democracy and urged supporters to actively participate in the election process. As the by-election draws near, the outcome remains uncertain, but Cho Kuk remains determined to showcase the values of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party in local governance.
