ZEPS Center refutes Chinese origin of presented drones

The Center for Technical and Technological Testing has released a statement addressing the controversy surrounding the Tayan and Ban-1 drones, clarifying their collaboration with a Turkish company and the purpose of the drones.

The drones, showcased at the Zenica Economic Fair, were produced as prototypes in Turkey and will be manufactured in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future. The center denies any military use of the drones, emphasizing their civilian applications in fields such as geodesy and forestry.

Contrary to rumors, the drones are not of Chinese origin and were only temporarily imported for the fair. The center expressed their commitment to meeting the demand for such products and refuted any claims linking Minister of Defense Zukan Helez to the project.

The statement aims to set the record straight about the drones and their intended purposes, ensuring the public’s understanding of the collaboration and future production plans.
