Western Azerbaijan Community denounces Dutch Parliament’s anti-Azerbaijani position.

As COP29 approaches, Azerbaijan faces centralized attacks, with the Parliament of the Netherlands and its foreign minister making unacceptable statements, as reported by the Western Azerbaijan Community (WAC). The WAC declares the language used in these documents as defamatory.

The WAC refutes claims that detainees in Azerbaijan are prisoners of war, emphasizing they are accused of war crimes. Additionally, allegations of threats to Armenian cultural heritage in Azerbaijan are deemed baseless. The recent restoration of the Ghazanchi Church in Shusha demonstrates Azerbaijan’s commitment to protecting all cultural heritage.

The WAC criticizes the anti-Azerbaijani stance of countries like France, Lithuania, Canada, and the Netherlands, highlighting the Netherlands’ colonial past and human rights record. They demand an end to accusations and attacks on Azerbaijan and the right of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia to return home.

Amidst these tensions, it is crucial to stay informed through platforms like Trend News Agency’s WhatsApp channel.
