Ukraine, Russia Halt Multiple Drone Attacks

Russia and Ukraine are engaged in a fierce battle of drone attacks, with each side claiming to have downed a significant number of enemy drones. Ukraine reported neutralising 24 drones fired by Moscow, while Russia claimed to have downed 47 Ukrainian drones.

The conflict escalated with missiles being fired from the Russian border region of Belgorod, with the Ukrainian air force responding by destroying 24 drones in various regions. Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck a fuel depot in the Russian-occupied Lugansk region, causing a fire.

Moscow, on the other hand, reported downing 47 Ukrainian drones, including those in the Krasnodar region, over the Azov Sea, and along the border region of Lursk. The Krasnodar governor confirmed damage caused by Ukrainian drone attacks, including three homes and a vehicle set on fire.

The ongoing conflict has seen Russian forces making advances and targeting Ukraine’s power grid, posing a significant challenge as the country faces a harsh winter following the Russian invasion in February 2022.
