Uddhav attacks Mahayuti govt at Dussehra rally, questions their loyalty to Hindutva

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray criticized the current leadership in Maharashtra, accusing them of not being true Hindutva loyalists. He emphasized that the BJP and its allies practice “opportunistic Hindutva” that does not align with his father’s ideology, Balasaheb Thackeray.

Addressing the party’s Dussehra rally, Thackeray challenged the claims made by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s group about upholding the Shiv Sena founder’s legacy. He stressed that the Sena’s battle is not just political but moral as well.

The rally holds significance as the Sena gears up for the upcoming elections as part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Thackeray vowed to fight against corruption and negligence in the current government, promising to put the interests of Maharashtra’s future first.

Thackeray’s son Aaditya echoed similar sentiments, warning against the corrupt practices in Mumbai and threatening legal action against questionable contracts. The Thackerays reaffirmed their commitment to protecting Maharashtra’s core values and opposing the sale of Mumbai to corporate interests.
