Turkey and Serbia aim to boost business cooperation: Turkish President Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic have pledged to enhance cooperation between their countries’ business communities during a Türkiye-Serbia Business Forum in Belgrade. Erdogan emphasized the potential for collaboration in various sectors such as health, energy, and technology, with a focus on the defense industry. He expressed Türkiye’s readiness to work on EU projects and highlighted the growing investments of Turkish companies in Serbia, creating jobs and boosting the economy.

Erdogan also noted the significant increase in bilateral trade volume, aiming to reach $5 billion soon. He encouraged Serbian entrepreneurs to invest in Türkiye, emphasizing the open doors for collaboration. Vucic emphasized that the relations between the two countries extend beyond economics, symbolizing peace and stability. He appreciated the investments made by Turkish companies in Serbia.

The leaders also highlighted the thriving tourism sector between their countries and expected a record number of tourists. Overall, the strong partnership between Türkiye and Serbia continues to grow, promising mutual benefits and deepening ties.
