Russian officials condemned Ukrainian drone attacks on civilian infrastructure, labeling them as criminal and terrorist acts.
Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 47 Ukrainian drones in a recent operation, according to the Defense Ministry.
“This night, during an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aerial vehicles on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 47 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs,” the ministry stated.
The drones were taken down over various regions, with three civilians injured in a village in Russia’s Belgorod Region.
