The Crossroads of Peace project, initiated by the Armenian government, is gaining global significance according to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Originally perceived within a regional context, PM Pashinyan highlighted the project’s importance in the ever-changing global landscape.
With the recent developments in Ukraine causing disruptions in the flow of goods and passengers, new pathways are being sought for the movement of hundreds of billions of dollars worth of goods to major markets. This shift has led to the increased importance of the Crossroads of Peace project in facilitating global trade.
PM Pashinyan emphasized that the project aims to serve as a gateway for economic flows, not only in the East-West direction but also in the West-East, South-North, and North-South directions. Armenia’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for facilitating trade between various regions.
