The Israeli military accuses Hezbollah of using ambulances for fighters without evidence, as tensions escalate in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army has issued a warning to target ambulances in southern Lebanon, alleging misuse by Hezbollah. Following an attack on UN peacekeepers, the military claimed that Hezbollah members were utilizing ambulances to transport fighters and weaponry. However, Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee provided no evidence to support these accusations.
In addition, Israeli forces have ordered more villages to evacuate amid ongoing clashes with Hezbollah fighters in the region. The military emphasized that any vehicle transporting armed individuals would be targeted, regardless of its type.
Fighting ongoing
The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah continues to escalate, with air attacks intensifying across Lebanon. Hezbollah has retaliated by launching rockets at Israel, resulting in casualties on both sides.
Amid the escalating tensions, Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf visited Beirut to offer support to the war-affected population. Ghalibaf expressed Iran’s readiness to assist Lebanon and Palestinians affected by the conflict, reinforcing the need for international cooperation in providing humanitarian aid.
