Iranian speaker tours bombing-hit Beirut

Iranian Speaker of Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, recently visited Beirut in solidarity with the Lebanese people after the area was bombed by the Israeli regime. During his visit, he met with Lebanese officials, including Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and visited the neighborhoods affected by the bombings.

Qalibaf expressed Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people, emphasizing the need for all Islamic countries to condemn the crimes committed by the Zionist regime. He conveyed a message from Iran’s Supreme Leader to Lebanese officials, reaffirming the Islamic Republic’s solidarity with Lebanon.

Following his visit to Beirut, Qalibaf will attend the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, Switzerland. At the meeting, he plans to address the Israeli regime’s atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon and highlight the efforts of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups in defending their countries.
