Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has reiterated Iran’s strong support for Lebanon, its government, people, and the resistance front in the face of challenges.

Qalibaf, speaking in Beirut after a meeting with Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri, conveyed a message from Ayatollah Khamenei, affirming Iran’s solidarity with Lebanon in difficult times.

During the upcoming 149th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly, Qalibaf will relay the plight of Lebanese and Palestinian people to the global community.

He pledged Iran’s assistance to those affected by Israeli aggression, offering aid if an air corridor is provided by the Lebanese government.

Israeli attacks have intensified, resulting in casualties, including Hezbollah’s leader. Qalibaf visited victims of a recent airstrike in central Beirut, emphasizing Iran’s commitment to Lebanon’s security.

Qalibaf’s visit underscores Iran’s support for Lebanon amidst escalating tensions.
