Urgent Appeal: Jabalia Citizens in Gaza Facing Imminent Danger
The Civil Defense in Gaza Strip has issued a dire warning, stating that 200,000 residents in Jabalia are at risk of death from Israeli bombardment, hunger, and thirst due to a week-long blockade. Mahmoud Basal, the Civil Defense spokesperson, pleaded for immediate intervention as essentials for survival are scarce.
The ongoing blockade has prevented medical teams from accessing fuel and supplies, exacerbating the already dire situation. Basal urged international organizations to step in and protect the vulnerable citizens of Jabalia.
The Israeli army’s ground assault on northern Gaza has intensified in recent days, targeting Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and Jabalia refugee camp. The operation, allegedly aimed at weakening Hamas, has left residents trapped and in desperate need of assistance.
