Dodik accuses ARBiH and HVO Members of Being Ustasha Heirs

The President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, accused Croat and Bosniak forces of aggression as part of the “Ustasha ideology” against Serbs during the 29th anniversary speech marking military operations in western Bosnia. Dodik claimed that the operations in 1995 were a continuation of the Ustasha idea of erasing the Serbian name, comparing the violence to that of the Handzar Division in World War II.

He emphasized that the Serbs were victims of the Ustasha ideology and that the liberation operations in western Bosnia were carried out by descendants of the Ustasha forces. Dodik condemned the actions of the prosecutors and judges in Sarajevo for neglecting the crimes committed against the Serbian population.

He urged unity and harmony among the Serbian people to prevent further atrocities like those seen in the past. Dodik’s claims have sparked controversy, as they overlook the complex military and political dynamics of the time, where the goal was to liberate occupied territories, not engage in genocidal warfare.
