Himachal government to release pending Dearness Allowance and salaries for state employees on October 28.
The Himachal Pradesh government announced that salaries, pensions, and pending DA will be released on October 28 for state employees, including medical reimbursement.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu mentioned that delayed salaries were for financial discipline.
He stated that about 1.15 lakh employees chose the Old Pension Scheme, with 1,364 opting for the New Pension Scheme.
Sukhu criticized the previous government’s Rs 5,000 crore freebies, impacting the state’s financial health.
The current administration aims to make Himachal Pradesh self-reliant by 2027, emphasizing changes in the system.
