The city is no longer a safe place.

The city is no longer a safe place.

Beirut was struck by chaos and two loud explosions on a Thursday evening, shattering the usual routine of bombings in the city. The heart of Beirut was invaded by war as the Israeli air force targeted a densely populated neighborhood, resulting in 22 deaths and 120 wounded. The reckless actions of the air force showed a blatant disregard for the lives of the residents in the area.

The primary target of these strikes was Wafiq Safa, a key Hezbollah figure involved in various controversial activities. The assassination attempt failed, according to reports from Al Manar, the Shiite movement’s TV channel.

A new level

By targeting Safa, Israel has escalated its campaign of assassinations against Hezbollah figures to a new level, aiming at political and public figures associated with the group. The message is clear: nobody within Hezbollah is safe from Israeli attacks anymore.
