The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina recently approved a new wholesale price for natural gas for distribution companies. Starting from October 1st, the price will be set at BAM 825.36/1,000 Sm³, which is a decrease from the previous rate of BAM 837.08/1,000 Sm³.
This decision aims to lower the cost for distribution companies, ultimately benefiting consumers. It is worth noting that the specified price does not include value added tax.
The responsibility of implementing this decision lies with the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry, as well as the Federal Ministry of Trade. Both institutions will work within their respective jurisdictions to ensure the smooth transition to the new pricing system.
This update in natural gas prices reflects the government’s commitment to regulating the market and providing cost-effective energy solutions for businesses and households alike.
