Rana Sanaullah slams PTI’s protest during SCO Summit

The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for planning a protest on October 15 at D-Chowk in Islamabad during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit. Sanaullah referred to PTI as a group promoting anarchism and accused them of attempting to disrupt the SCO Summit.

He emphasized that the PTI’s true intentions have been revealed, highlighting their aim to interfere with the international event. Sanaullah urged the PTI leaders to stay within their political boundaries and not disrupt the country’s interests. The SCO Summit, scheduled for October 15-16 in Islamabad, will witness participation from various member countries, including India.

On the other hand, the PTI announced a ‘powerful’ protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad on the same day, criticizing the government’s actions against their party members. The central information secretary of PTI, Sheikh Waqas Akram, demanded the release of detained workers and called for an end to unlawful raids by the federal and Punjab governments.
