His Majesty King Abdullah II departed for Cyprus to attend the MED9 summit at the invitation of Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides, with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II accompanying him.
The summit in Paphos will include heads of state and government from Mediterranean and Southern European Union member states, along with EU representatives, to discuss European integration and issues concerning Cyprus, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, and Croatia.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members, ensuring stability during the King’s absence.
