Security Cabinet to Vote on Response to Iranian Attack
Israel’s security cabinet will vote to authorize Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to determine the response to Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel.
Following Iran’s missile strike on Oct. 1, Netanyahu and Gallant will be given the power to decide Israel’s course of action.
Israel acknowledged damage to its air bases from the attack, prompting Gallant to promise a “lethal, precise, and surprising” strike on Iran.
Tensions in the region have escalated due to Israel’s actions in Gaza and Lebanon, with concerns of a potential regional war looming.
