Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei denounced Israel’s airstrike on an Iranian field hospital along the Syria-Lebanon border as a “war crime.” The 56-bed hospital operated by the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) was destroyed, along with its equipment and aid supplies, in the attack.

Baghaei criticized Israel for its repeated strikes on hospitals and rescue centers in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, stating that it violated international regulations and norms. IRCS President Pirhossein Kolivand also condemned the airstrike, calling it a clear violation of international humanitarian law.

During a meeting in Doha, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi blamed Israel’s “warmongering” for causing insecurity and instability in West Asia. He called for an end to the genocide and destruction of infrastructure in Lebanon and Gaza, while the Qatari foreign minister urged regional cooperation to stop Israeli crimes and support the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
