Iran Press/ Iran news: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran strongly denounced the Israeli attack on Iran’s Red Crescent Field Hospital at the Lebanon-Syria border. Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson, condemned the Israeli regime’s actions, labeling it as a war crime.
Israeli warplanes targeted the Iranian Red Crescent Society’s makeshift hospital, set up at the border, in violation of international humanitarian laws. Baghaei called for a response from the International Committee of the Red Cross and other human rights organizations.
The need for international aid to hundreds of thousands of displaced Lebanese refugees was emphasized, highlighting the responsibility of the UN, UNHCR, and the Red Cross. Despite the arson of the field hospital by Israeli warplanes, the IRCS condemned the attack.
Amid escalating Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, the IRCS established the hospital on October 4. The recent attack further highlights the ongoing conflict in the region and the urgent need for humanitarian assistance.
