Begic: US Embassy working on Dayton Revision with Belgrade and Zagreb influence

Representative Zlatan Begić from the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina criticized the US Embassy in BiH for subtly revising the Dayton Agreement to align with Belgrade and Zagreb’s policies. Begić, a constitutional law professor, highlighted discrepancies in the implementation of court decisions, leading to governmental disorganization. He accused certain political factions of undermining BiH citizens’ rights by manipulating legal processes.

Begić condemned the appointment of biased officials to key positions and urged for a fair judicial system. He warned against the erosion of democratic principles and the rule of law in BiH, attributing the decline to foreign influence. He emphasized the necessity for transparent and democratic governance, opposing oppressive measures imposed by external forces.

In conclusion, Begić pledged to uphold democratic values and resist foreign interference in BiH’s political affairs. He called for the preservation of BiH’s sovereignty and democratic ideals, advocating for the principles on which America was founded.
