Azerbaijan integrates NGOs into Digital Document Management System – official sources

Revolutionizing Document Management in Azerbaijan: Inara Valiyeva, chairperson of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, announced at the “INMerge Innovation Summit” in Baku that Azerbaijan is making significant strides in digital document management. By implementing a Digital Document Management System, the country has saved over 500,000 sheets of paper monthly, equivalent to about 2,000 trees annually. With more than 1,700 government agencies already connected to the system, the efficiency of document exchange has vastly improved.

Valiyeva highlighted the ongoing efforts to integrate non-governmental organizations into the system, further reducing paper usage and promoting environmental sustainability. The “INMerge Innovation Summit” by PASHA Holding aims to foster collaboration between startups and investors, nurturing the innovation ecosystem in Azerbaijan. Through this platform, participants can exchange ideas, share experiences, and pave the way for future partnerships in advancing digital solutions. Azerbaijan is on a trajectory towards streamlined, paperless management, transforming the way organizations handle documentation.
