In a recent operation, the troops of the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army successfully disrupted a major supply chain of logistics to terrorists in Taraba State. The arrest of the logistics supplier, Musa Inusa, near Bunka Village in Lau Local Government Area, is believed to have a significant impact on the operational capabilities of the terrorist group operating in the region.
Items recovered from Inusa included a Jack Knife, N2,460, suspected Indian hemp, and other illicit drugs. Additionally, three bandits were also arrested in Jeb-Jeb, a border community with Plateau State in Karim Lamido Local Government Area, for their involvement in armed robberies, kidnappings, and violent assaults on communities.
These successful operations are part of the 6th Brigade’s efforts to combat inter-state criminality within its Area of Operations. Further investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the criminal syndicate, showing the Army’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the region.
