Amaechi urges Nigerians to protest and rally against bad governance

Former transportation minister Rotimi Amaechi is calling on Nigerians to protest against bad governance amidst increasing hardships. He criticized the government for the rising cost of living and urged citizens to take action against politicians who are exploiting them. Amaechi highlighted the detrimental impact of recent fuel subsidy decisions on the economy, emphasizing the need for citizens to voice their discontent through protests and by not supporting politicians who fail to prioritize their well-being.

On a different note, Monkey Shoulder and Worldwide FM recently collaborated to celebrate Jazzhole, a Nigerian music hub that has shaped the country’s music scene for thirty years. Jazzhole was awarded a £10,000 grant to digitize and release two compilation albums of unreleased recordings, showcasing a diverse range of Nigerian music genres. The event at Waterside, Lekki, brought together musicians, DJs, and cultural icons to pay homage to Jazzhole’s legacy and highlight the importance of grassroots music culture in Nigeria.
