한국, 평양에 3차례 무인기 살포 후 도발 시 행동 준비

North Korea has accused South Korea of flying drones into its airspace and spreading political propaganda, escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula. The South Korean military denies the allegations but warns of strong retaliation if its citizens’ safety is compromised. In response, North Korea issued a stern warning of potential military action if such provocations continued.

Kim Yong-hyun, South Korea’s Defense Minister, clarified that the country did not deploy drones into North Korean territory. However, possibilities exist for civilians or anti-regime factions within North Korea to conduct such activities.

The latest exchange of threats between the two Koreas raises concerns about a renewed crisis in the region. The South Korean military remains on high alert and ready to respond decisively to any provocations that threaten national security.

The involvement of North Korea’s foreign ministry in issuing the warning suggests a heightened level of hostility following Kim Jong-un’s declaration of the most hostile bilateral relationship with South Korea. As tensions escalate, both sides warn of devastating consequences if provocations continue.
