Waterford LNP candidate stumbles in explaining private business dealings

Logan City Councillor Jacob Heremaia is challenging Health Minister Shannon Fentiman in the upcoming state election while also managing a new company, Avem Technology.

Heremaia’s father, a shareholder in the company, was previously banned from credit activity, raising questions about the nature of Rpay.

Described as a “hobby company” by Heremaia, Rpay has sparked interest and been defended against claims of impropriety.

Despite the controversy, Heremaia remains focused on community service and downplays concerns about his business.
