Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons, passed away at the age of 86, leaving behind a legacy of major deals that transformed the Tata group into one of India’s biggest conglomerates. Some of the key acquisitions during his tenure include Tetley Tea in 2000, Corus Steel in 2007, Jaguar Land Rover in 2008, and Daewoo Commercial Vehicles in 2004.
