Russian, Chinese warship drills focus on anti-submarine ops in Asia-Pacific – Other Media报道

In the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean, warships from the Russian and Chinese Navies recently conducted anti-submarine warfare exercises during a joint patrol. The ships practiced maneuvering together and forming defensive formations against potential submarines, with the help of a Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopter for submarine detection.

The Russian task force included the Admiral Panteleyev and the Admiral Tributs large anti-submarine ships, while the Chinese Navy was represented by the Xining and Wuxi destroyers, the Linyi frigate, and the Taihu integrated supply ship.

This joint patrol followed air and anti-submarine defense exercises under the Interaction 2024 headlines. The drills involved various practical scenarios focusing on anti-submarine warfare and maritime rescue operations.
