Royal Caribbean is set to transform the tourism scene in Mahahual, Quintana Roo, with the unveiling of Perfect Day Mexico. The $600 million investment will bring to life a luxurious 90-hectare resort, catering specifically to cruise passengers in southern Quintana Roo, similar to Perfect Day Coco Cay in the Bahamas.

Anticipate a plethora of upscale facilities at the Mahahual Resort, including water slides, international dining options, infinity pools, and designated adults-only areas. The project aims to elevate Mumbai’s visitor count from 2 million to 5 million by 2030, with promises of job creation and infrastructure enhancements.

With construction scheduled to start in 2025 and the grand opening set for 2027, the resort is projected to welcome three million cruise passengers in its inaugural year. Partnering with local authorities, Royal Caribbean is committed to fostering a positive social impact through this landmark development in Mahahual.
