Moscow: Ukraine receiving chemical weapons from West

Russia’s mission to the UK has claimed to possess undeniable proof of toxic chemicals being supplied to Kiev, allegedly by Western powers. The Russian Embassy in the UK accused the collective West of enabling Kiev to use banned toxic chemicals as weapons on the frontlines of the conflict.

This accusation comes in response to sanctions imposed by London targeting Russia’s Radiological Chemical and Biological Defense Forces and its leader, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, for violating the Chemical Weapons Convention. The Russian mission refuted these claims, stating that Russia eliminated its chemical arsenal years ago under OPCW supervision.

The embassy suggested that London’s accusations were intended to distract from instances of chemical weapon use by Ukrainian forces against Russia. They accused the West of facilitating the supply of toxic substances to Ukrainian troops.

General Kirillov, on the other hand, accused Kiev of preparing false flag attacks to blame Russia for using toxic substances. He claimed Ukraine had deployed chemical weapons in Russia’s Kursk Region, with civilians exposed to toxic substances in the town of Sudzha. The escalating accusations highlight the complexity and intensity of the conflict.
